Peter Heerey is the principal lawyer. Peter has been practising as a lawyer for over 30 years. He has appeared as Counsel in various Courts and Tribunals. Peter is admitted as a Practitioner of the Supreme Court of Tasmania and a member of the bar roll. He is also entitled to practice as a Solicitor or Barrister in any Federal Court, including the High Court of Australia.
Peter has a long commitment to the Legal Aid system and is a past board member and president of the North West Community Legal Centre.
Outside of work, Peter enjoys a bit of fishing, spending time with his family (including the dog), reading good travel books and motor cycle racing (watching only nowadays). His music of choice is heavy metal, with Pantera among his top picks. Peter’s favourite Prime Minister is Gough Whitlam and his favourite Tasmanian of all time is Errol Flynn.

Tanya Heerey has been working with her husband Peter in their own business for 20 years. Believe it or not though, Tanya has been working in the legal profession since she was just 15! Tanya has a depth of practical legal experience and knowledge. Her main focus area is conveyancing, deceased estates, commercial work and wills.
Tanya’s favourite cuisine is Thai and has perfected her green curry. She also enjoys relaxing with a good podcast or book, or spending time with her dog.
